About Le Petit Saladin
The history of Saladin began on rue Latour in Bordeaux in 1976. Created by Belhassen Gharbi, this colorful restaurant animated the Chartrons district for more than 40 years. More than a Tunisian specialty restaurant, the Saladin was a real meeting place and cultural evenings. Today, the Saladin lives on through its little brother at Le Bouscat: Le Petit Saladin. This new address offers essential Belhassen dishes such as couscous and tajine, to eat in or take away. Le Petit Saladin is now in the hands of Mr. Gharbi’s children and wife, who are keen to pass on their family heritage through the best Tunisian flavors.
