About Oasis Restaurant
It was the year 1971 when the journalist Ramón Pouso and his wife Malika decided to settle in Ceuta. The chosen place, on the hill of Mount Hacho, only existed at that time a plot with a small house. They decide to make a home there. This is how the creation of a life project away from the madding crowd begins to be conceived and gestated: El Oasis.
Originally it started as a tea room but later, after much sacrifice and effort, it began to grow and become what it is today. A space where you not only go to taste the typical food of the place from the hand of its cook, both owner and creator Malika, but also a recommended place to visit where you can see both the silhouette of our beautiful city, Ceuta, as calm at times and fierce at others, the narrow blue corridor that separates Africa from Europe, the so-called Strait of Gibraltar.
The Oasis restaurant thus becomes a pleasure for all the senses, a balcony where you can lean out and merge with the nature that surrounds us, lose yourself in the line that marks the horizon, immersed in the charm of exotic flavors and the cultural mix of our gastronomy.
