We are looking for an experienced person to manage and overlook our operation and workshop property. ZanTours, as leading Destination Management Company in Zanzibar, owns and operates over 60 vehicles of all sizes. The candidate will be responsible for over 50 employees. You are reporting directly to the German / British Owner.
Your tasks are:
• Making sure that vehicles are leaving clean and in order as per company standard.
• Making sure that drivers are dressed and in time as per company standards – that includes also to work with our GPS system if needed.
• Making sure that our mechanics are servicing and maintaining our fleet as per company standards.
• Supporting the chief mechanic in sourcing spare parts – even from abroad if necessary
• Supporting the chief mechanic in planning the day-to-day work
• Supporting the transport manager in planning the day-to-day work
• Making sure that the workspace is clean and organized.
• Being responsible for all 3 departments, workshop, car wash and transport departments – you are also the link between them.
• Training and supporting the staff.
