The Opportunity: An international precious metals miner is focused on development of a core asset in Africa that will result in the operation of a medium-sized operation with a long mine life. The company will add to their small team of expats by hiring a Mining Manager (Deputy General Manager) that will assist with the management and structure of production geology, technical services, underground and surface mining production teams.

• Some of the key requirements for this position include:
• Manage and structure the production geology, technical services, underground and surface mining production teams
• Implementation and monitoring of KPIs and operating standards
• Ensure a viable long-term mining operation
• Train, support, reinforce the technical knowledge and improve working
• Lead improvements for long hole mining method utilised
• Monitor production costs and put forward solutions to improve them
• Succeed in accelerating production
