Job Description

Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Site Electrical Senior Superintendent is responsible for managing the Departments that provide safe and effective Generation, Distribution and Control of Electricity across site, ensuring that all regulatory, safety, production, development and cost targets are met.

Job Responsibilities

Managing the following Departments; Processing Electrical, Electrical Engineering, Generation & Distribution, Automation & Controls
• Ensure each department has a long term Maintenance program following company guidelines for Kinross way for maintenance
• Ensure each department has systems in place to comply with all regulatory requirements for Generation and Distribution of Electricity
• Ensure a site wide Electrical safety program is in place with periodic assessments to measure compliance
• Develop KPI’s to measure performance of each Department (HSE, Production, Maintenance, cost, training and development
• Oversee and approve OPEX, CAPEX and manpower budget for each Department
• Ensure each Department has a strong Development and training plan for employees and track progress through KPI’s
• Liaise with Project teams to ensure Electrical projects and installations comply with site standards and that proper consideration is taken for ongoing maintenance of equipment
• Drive continuous improvement culture within Electrical departments
