Consolidating the training needs from the Complexes in area of responsibility to enable the formulation of the annual training plan and providing input into the Annual Training Plan and Workplace Skills Plan.
Ensuring that course schedules in area of responsibility are developed, loaded, published and available for bookings to be scheduled on SAP and that training materials and assessments are prepared for each training intervention.
Ensuring that a fixed asset register is maintained, and that equipment, tools and materials used in training are properly maintained and available.
Conducting reviews to identify opportunities to optimise processes and systems by reviewing own system and consulting with the team and providing feedback to the HRD Superintendent.
Ongoing engagement with internal stakeholders on their needs and keeping up with external development within the field to ensure that internal processes keep up and meet customer needs.
Engaging and liaising with Safety Discipline Supervisors, Middle Management and Development Committee Members to ensure that training materials are reviewed, meeting the skills and competency requirements and addressing organisational and safety challenges and changes.
Ensuring that materials, assessment guides and tests are aligned with Glencore Coal SA\s Quality Management Systema (QMS), SETA & QCTO requirements.
Ensuring that pre-training assessments, training delivery assessments and moderation are conducted in line with internal procedures, SETA & QCTO requirements.
