Ghana Health Informatics Association(GHIA®) is a professional body of health informatics experts and enthusiasts in Ghana. It harnesses the expertise of it’s members to provide leadership in championing the initiative and use of  health informatics tools  to improve health delivery and to reduce operating cost of healthcare providers in Ghana. The association aims to develop policy ,advocate on behalf of its members, and provide opportunity for continuous training and professional development.  The association engages in the planning, design, development, deployment, and maintenance  of  safe eHealth solutions and also educates eHealth system users and consumers on its benefits, whilst upholding professional ethics and privacy.
Our membership cuts across various industries that are stakeholders for healthcare delivery in Ghana. GHIA aids its members to learn, share, research, and create health informatics tools and solutions that will add to existing knowledge whereas increasing competencies nation wide.
