The mission of Mawuli Evangelical Presbyterian Church is to be led by the Holy Spirit to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, to train and educate all in Biblical truth and to include each one in a community of faith and fellowship.

Our Belief

The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the basis of our statement of faith. This Church is committed, as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, to share the good news of salvation to mankind.  The ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Our Reverend Ministers 
Meet Rev. Edem Dela Sapati, BS, RT(R)(CT)(MR), ARRT, MPH

Reverend Edem has a passion for carefully unpacking the truths of Scripture. He is an energetic, dedicated, passionate and innovative healthcare professional with progressive experience within the field of public health and radiology. He has excellent track record in achieving efficiency, productivity and organizational growth.

Having graduated with a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from University of Ghana, he continued to University of Vermont and obtained a certificate in Global leadership. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Radiological Science from Columbia University with Advance Certifications in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He also obtained Masters Degrees in Public Health and Health Practice from University of Massachusetts.

He serves as a resident Reverend Minister at Mawuli Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Director of Youth Ministry-Evangelical Presbyterian Church, North America. He is an Administrative Manager in  the department of Radiology Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and also BronxCare Health Systems.

He is a member of Radiological Society of North America; Association of Healthcare Radiology Administrators; International Society for Clinical Densitometry.

Meet Rev. Benjamin Donya. Dip, BA, MBA

Reverend Benjamin is passionate about missionary work, has a heart for the poor and to lead the church’s worship of God in a way that matches the character of God. He is an accomplished educator.

Reverend Donya after his High school education continued and obtained post-secondary Teachers certificate and taught at different schools in Ghana. He obtained a Diploma and Bachelors of Arts degree from University of Ghana. He also obtained Masters in Business Administration from Monroe King Graduate School of Business in NY.

Reverend Donya has held key positions in E. P church such as Session Secretary, Welfare and Financial Secretary. Upon his commissioning by Evangelical Presbyterian Seminary Ghana he was a Presbyter Elect and served as leader of Mawuli Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He serves as resident Reverend Minister  at Mawuli Evangelical Presbyterian Church. He serves currently as Director of Men’s Fellowship E. P Church North America.
