About Merseyside Yoruba Community Association
Merseyside Yorùbá Community Association (MYCA) is an offshoot of Liverpool Social Yorùbá Club Association.
The Yorùbá Club was set up in the early 1950s to meet the aspiration of our people in the quest for a place to socialise.
The new association embraced the word ‘Merseyside’ as opposed to ‘Liverpool’ in order to spread the membership catchment area and this has paid dividends with subscribed members from Liverpool, Skelmersdale, Wirral, Southport, Prescot and Sefton.
