About Nigerian Cultural Association, Inc.

Nigerian Cultural Association, Inc. – Founded in 2002 as the Nigerian Legal Defense Fund, with an original aim to render financial and legal assistance to immigrants, the Nigerian Cultural Association Inc. (NCA) took its present name in 2004, when it became a 501-C non-profit organization and effectively expanded its scope to promote cultural awareness and education and facilitate community engagement among Nigerian, African, and American families in Buffalo and Western New York. The Nigerian Cultural Association has become known for its diverse community development programs, including Youth Education and Empowerment, Community Care and Revitalization, Nigerian Summer Picnic, Juneteenth, and the Nigerian Annual Banquet & Lecture. The NCA is led by an Executive Board elected by annually-subscribed members. The Association warmly welcomes new members and distinguished visitors.

The Nigerian Cultural Association (NCA) is a non-political, non-sectarian, cultural, and educational organization. We serve the Buffalo and Western New York community. We also organize and participate in cultural and family activities and festivals.
