St. Gabriel is one of the most celebrated archangels among the Ethiopian people. St. Gabriel churches are founded throughout Ethiopia, some of them established dating back over one thousand years age. Saint Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Of San Diego is one of such churches. St. Gabriel feast day is traditionally celebrated twice a year in July and December mass is held once a week on Sundays.
