The honorary consulate of Burkina Faso is an entity authorized by the Burkinabé state to handle relations between the country and its citizens living in Madrid. On June 11, 2010, Burkina Faso gives its agreement for the establishment of an honorary consulate in Madrid, and on July 25, 2013, a decree is published establishing Mrs. Karidia Friggit as honorary consul of Burkina Faso in Madrid. . On February 10, 2014, the honorary consulate was installed at 10 Emilio Vargas Street in Madrid, inaugurated by  His Excellency Don Eric Tiare, Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Burkina Faso in Paris.
