About Oost-Afrikaans Eethuis Djebena, Noordeinde
Djebena is an East African restaurant that first opened its doors in the heart of Leiden in 2000. The initiator and also the manager wants to share the warm atmosphere of East African culture with fellow human beings.
The name Djebena comes from the traditional coffee pitcher that comes from the Eritrean culture.
African culture is known for its togetherness. This element can also be found in the restaurant.
At Djebena, a combination of traditional food, drink and music is created. In addition, you will be surrounded by a traditional environment/atmosphere.
The response from customers was so positive that Djebena opened its second branch in 2008 on Weimarstraat in The Hague.
The African atmosphere can be experienced at all locations and offers the same possibilities.
