Rick’s takes its name from the classic movie Casablanca starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. On the restaurant’s piano, our pianist often plays music from the film, jazz and other things from the 1940s. You can take a break from the stress of the city, sink into a soft cushion and enjoy a glass of fresh mint tea.

The restaurant and café is owned by the Moroccan Hicham Madih, who is most often present either in the kitchen or as a waiter. With its location facing the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean, Morocco has developed its unique food culture based on fresh ingredients and taste experiences. A classic specialty is the Moroccan tagine, which is a specially glazed clay dish with a cone-shaped lid. Fish, chicken or meat is cooked in the dish together with spices, herbs and vegetables. The characteristic of tagine is that the taste and aroma of the ingredients are preserved.
